چکیده

BackgroundIgE causes anaphylaxis in type I hypersensitivity diseases by activating degranulation of effector cells such as mast and basophils. The mechanisms that control IgE activity prevent under normal conditions are still enigmatic.ObjectiveWe aimed to unravel how anti-IgE autoantibodies induced we understand their role regulating serum level allergic anaphylaxis.MethodsWe immunized mice with different forms tested autoantibody responses specificities. We then analyzed the effect those antibodies on kinetics vitro vivo impact anaphylaxis. Finally, investigated human sera.ResultsImmunization IgE-immune complexes glycan-specific autoantibodies. prevented cell sensitization, reduced total levels, protected from passive active resulted cross-protection against allergens. Furthermore, were present sera subjects allergy without allergy.ConclusionIn conclusion, this study provided first evidence murine model, anaphylactic may be downregulated IgG enigmatic. sera. IgG anti-IgE autoantibodies in visceral leishmaniasis.

Procedures for IgG depletion in visceral leishmaniasis (VL) and schistosomiasis sera using Sepharose-protein G beads also deplete IgE. In this study, the presence of IgG anti-IgE autoantibodies in sera from patients with VL (n = 10), and hepatic-intestinal schistosomiasis (n = 10) and from healthy individuals (n = 10) was investigated. A sandwich ELISA using goat IgG anti-human IgE to capture s...

Anti-IgE autoantibodies in systemic sclerosis (scleroderma).

An enzyme immunoassay was used to determine the prevalence of anti-IgE auto-antibodies in 66 patients with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) stratified according to extent and duration of disease. Serum IgG anti-IgE antibodies were detected in 14 (21%) patients and IgM anti-IgE antibodies in nine (14%) patients. The overall prevalence of IgG or IgM isotypes was 21/66, (32%). Anti-IgE autoantibod...

Identification of markers that distinguish IgE- from IgG-mediated anaphylaxis.

IgG-mediated anaphylaxis occurs in mice and may contribute to human reactions to infused drugs. To distinguish IgE- from putative IgG-mediated human anaphylaxis, we developed blood markers for murine anaphylaxis and evaluated their human relevance. Both IgG- and IgE-mediated anaphylaxis were characterized by decreased basophil and monocyte percentages and an increased neutrophil percentage in m...

Food allergen-specific serum IgG and IgE before and after elimination diets in allergic dogs.

Serum food allergen-specific antibody testing is widely offered to identify suitable ingredients for diets to diagnose adverse food reaction (AFR) in dogs with allergic skin disease. Antibody concentrations in blood samples obtained during an unsuccessful diet to help in the choice of diet changes may be influenced by the previous diet. The objective of this paper was to measure food antigen-sp...
